Dedicated fibre & Ethernet

Guaranteed bandwidth when shared broadband is not enough.

Business Fibre and dedicated Ethernet are built for sites that need predictable performance — no sharing with residential traffic, symmetrical speeds, and a clear path to scale from 100Mbps to 10Gbps.

No upfront quote fee. No obligation. Clear next steps before you switch.

10Gbps

Dedicated Ethernet scales from 100Mbps to 10Gbps on the same line.

Business-only

Business Fibre is not shared with residential customers.

Backup

4G, broadband or a second leased-line supplier for resilience.

Who it is for

Built around how the site actually works

We match the product to the premises, the team, and the contract you already have — not a generic package.

  • Offices that cannot risk contention from neighbouring homes and businesses.
  • Multi-site or data-heavy operations that need symmetrical upload and download.
  • Businesses running hosted voice, payment systems or cloud apps that cannot drop out.
  • Sites waiting on a leased line that need a temporary 5G or broadband backup in the meantime.

The range

Two business-only products

Options explained in plain English. Pricing is quoted to your sites and term — we do not publish a public rate card.

Business Fibre (100Mbps to 1Gbps)

Built exclusively for business users, with low contention, high capacity and a straightforward install. Guaranteed bandwidth with built-in burst lets you use headline speed when you need it. Fixed IPs are standard, and a router is included.

Dedicated Ethernet (100Mbps to 10Gbps)

An uncontended, always-on circuit with guaranteed bandwidth. You can scale from 100Mbps to 10Gbps over the same line as the business grows. A router is supplied; 10Gbps services use a higher-capacity device.

Resilience options

Single points of failure can be removed with low-cost 4G backup, a broadband backup, or a second leased-line supplier. We match the backup to how critical the site is — cold standby, warm standby, or a public IP that stays with you during failover.

MPLS for multiple sites

Where you have offices, a data centre, disaster-recovery sites or home workers to join up, MPLS can put them on one network with better quality between sites and a single voice solution across locations.

Included

What you get

  • Guaranteed or assured bandwidth rather than a “up to” consumer speed.
  • Fixed IP addresses as standard, with more available on request.
  • A router included in the service.
  • Clear minimum terms (typically 12, 24 or 36 months on Business Fibre; 36 months on dedicated Ethernet).
  • Planning for backup while a new circuit is installed, including 4G/5G pre-Ethernet if lead times are long.

Worth knowing

Not sure if you need Ethernet?

If full-fibre broadband would cover the site, we will say so. Dedicated Ethernet is for when you need uncontended, symmetrical performance and a service-level that shared broadband cannot promise.

In practice

When a dedicated circuit is the right call

Voice and payments on the same site

Hosted phone systems and card terminals both need a stable connection. A dedicated circuit keeps those services off a contended broadband line.

Head office and branches

Ethernet at the main site, with broadband or 5G at smaller locations, is a common mix. We design around how each site actually works.

Long fibre lead times

If a leased line will take weeks, we can get the site online first with 5G rapid connectivity, then convert that link to backup once Ethernet is live.

Questions

What should I know before I request a quote?

Business Fibre is a business-only fibre product with low contention and speeds up to 1Gbps. Dedicated Ethernet is an uncontended circuit with guaranteed bandwidth, scalable to 10Gbps. We recommend based on how critical the connection is and how much upload you need.
