Options explained in plain English. Pricing is quoted to your sites and term — we do not publish a public rate card.
Part-fibre (SoGEA-style)
Uses the same technology as FTTC but does not need a traditional phone line, so you are not paying for a line you may never use. A VoIP phone service can still run over the top, and it is unaffected by the 2027 switch-off. Typical speeds include 40Mbps and 80Mbps packages.
Full-fibre (FTTP)
Fibre all the way to the premises, with ultrafast options from 100Mbps up to 1Gbps where the network is available. This is the natural replacement for ADSL and FTTC, which are being retired.
Ultrafast part-fibre (G.fast)
A single-order, faster part-fibre connection than standard FTTC — typically 150Mbps or 300Mbps. It is only available to premises within about 500 metres of the exchange, so we check availability before recommending it.
Copper broadband
Still available where fibre has not reached the site. The underlying technology cannot be voice-enabled, so if you still need phone service we will pair it with hosted voice on a different path, or look at fibre and Ethernet instead.
