EV charging

Charge points that match the fleet and the incoming supply, not a catalogue default.

Workplace and depot charging only works if the electrical capacity, parking layout and overnight vs daytime use are right. We compare hardware, install and the electricity that feeds the points — including whether solar or a new supply contract should sit alongside.

No upfront quote fee. No obligation. Clear next steps before you switch.

Workplace

Staff, visitor and depot charging designed around how the car park is used.

Capacity first

We check the incoming supply before promising a bank of rapid chargers.

Tied to power

Charging is an electricity problem as much as a hardware one.

Who it is for

Built around how the sites actually use energy

We match the product to the meters, the load and the contract you already have — not a generic package.

  • Employers adding staff charging as a benefit or a planning condition.
  • Fleets moving vans or cars to electric and needing overnight depot charge.
  • Landlords of business parks who need a fair, billed solution for tenants.
  • Sites that already have solar and want daytime charging to soak up generation.

The range

What we specify

Options explained in plain English. Pricing is quoted to your sites and term — we do not publish a public rate card.

Charge point type and speed

Workplace AC points are enough for cars that sit all day. Depots often need faster overnight or a mix. We do not default to the highest kW the brochure offers.

Load management

Several points on one supply need to share capacity so you do not trip the site or pay for a huge extra connection. Software load balancing is usually cheaper than a new DNO upgrade.

The electricity behind it

Charging can reshape the HH profile and the capacity charge. We look at the supply contract at the same time so the new load is not a surprise on the next bill.

With solar

Daytime staff charging on a solar-rich roof is one of the cleaner combinations. We will quote them together when the load fits.

Included

In the quote

  • Site survey of parking, cable runs and incoming capacity.
  • Hardware and install options, not a single locked-in brand.
  • An honest note if the supply needs reinforcing before more points.
  • Billing / access setup for staff vs fleet vs visitors.
  • The impact on your electricity contract, not hardware in isolation.

Worth knowing

A rapid charger on a thin supply is an expensive ornament

If the incoming capacity cannot support the points, you either queue, trip the site, or pay for a grid upgrade. Capacity is the first question, not the last.

In practice

How sites usually start

A handful of staff bays

A few 7kW points, load-managed, on the existing supply. We still check the board and the tariff.

A van depot going electric

Overnight charging, more kilowatts, possibly a new connection. This is a power project with chargers on the end of it.

Tenant billing on a shared car park

Access control and recharge of kWh matter as much as the posts. We flag that before install.

Questions

What should I know before I request a quote?

Often yes, with load management and a realistic number of points. A survey of the incoming capacity is how we know — not a guess from the parking count.
